Recently I won a great giveaway over at Amy's blog New Nostalgia.  Four (yes four!) darling necklaces from Kashoan of KraftyKash.net .  You really need to check out the Krafty Kash site she

has so many darling items.  I am thrilled with my new items!!!  Thank you ladies!!

Just finished this little shawlette.  It was fun to knit...it is a free pattern on Ravelry called Lacy Baktus by Terhi Montonen. I can't wait to start it again in shades of cream and brown. I think I might add some more fringe to the edge and call it good.

Bloggers Quilt Festival

Amy at Amy's Creative Side is running another wonderful Quilt Festival.  This is my entry in the baby quilt catagory.  A sweet little quilt for my grandaughter.  The pattern is a free one from the Moda Bake shop called Candy Hearts the design is by Amber at Gigi's Thimble. Finished size is 45 x 54.  I quilted it on my domestic machine in off center concentric circles...a subtle representation of the circles of love that surround her. Thank you Amy for another wonderful Festival. Nothing like starting my day with a cup of coffee and being inspired by all the beautiful quilts and talented people that make up this festival.

Baby quilt

Just finished and gifted this baby quilt. It went to a dear friends new daughter-in-law.  It was such a fun quilt to put together.  The pattern is called 'Square Dance' and was created by the talented Amber and the pattern is sold in her etsy shop GiGi's Thimble.  Click here to visit her shop.  I love all of Amber's patterns.
