Finished and gifted so now I can post this to my blog. This a baby quilt for a very special new mom-to-be. Their first 'child' is a wonderful black and white great dane named Stanley...so of course I had to include Stanley in the quilt for their first human child. This is my first quilt done without any sort of pattern...just my crazy vision of what I thought it should maybe look like. A learning experience in a big way...LOL! And yea!!!! she likes it!!
Lorna!!! That's gorgeous! I can't believe you made it without a pattern and that it was your first time doing so. I would imagine that you felt completely comfortable doing so! Your friends must love this quilt so much, and what a special, special gift for the new parents.
